Why Curio? by Pete Eliot

If the pandemic has taught us anything, it is to question everything. As a business owner, I have always questioned everything. How can the business improve? How can I improve? Questions that I will never stop asking myself, but broader questions arise. How can our industry improve in Boston, New England, and beyond? To start, we need to encourage innovation, foster collaboration, drive inclusivity, and more. As we all come out of the pandemic, we have the opportunity to start fresh with a new perspective on old challenges.

 We’ve decided that it’s time to create a place to do all of those things. For manufacturers to show new products, designers to try new concepts, innovators to share new ideas, and our community to come together and build on each other’s strengths. To push each other, to create spaces for all. To move forward, together.

 We’re looking forward to sharing Curio with you later this summer, and we hope that you will become a part of it. Most importantly, we’re looking forward to being together in person soon. Until then… stay curious.
